Fall 2008 Women's Fashion Trend: Plaid CoatsPolka dots and tweed are giving way to plaid in all sorts of color combinations this Fall, and you can choose from a long-coat with a low-waited belt, or a simple pea coat style buttoned up to the max. Both large and small plaid prints are acceptable this season, and are best paired with tights and booties over a dress or skirt.
Fall 2008 Women's Fashion Trend: Shitake and Twilight Blue Color CombosShitake is a mellow brown color, while Twilight Blue is a variation of classic navy. Together, this is one of Fall's most attractive looks and can be found in coats, dresses, and even pantsuits. Temperley London and Peter Som both picked up on this color combination at New York Fashion Week, and it's perfect for both day and night.

Gloria Vanderbilt classic

Gloria Vanderbilt classic fit 5 pocket designer jeans sit right at-the waist & features tapered legs in short, average & long inseams. Blended cotton fabrication with just a bit of stretch provides comfort, style, and guarantees a perfect fit every time. Denim. Cotton Spandex

I've got two -- and I'm going back for more! How absolutely wonderful to be able to buy a pair of jeans and not have to worry about hemming them before you can wear them! I can actually wear Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans with ballerina flats or Keds and not end up dragging the fabric on the ground. (For petite women, this is a miracle!)
I have other jeans in my closet, but whenever I'm getting ready go out, it's almost always my Gloria Vanderbilt Women's Petite 5 Pocket Amanda Jeans that I'll reach for. They are comfortable, have just enough stretch, and don't make me feel like I am trying to force myself into kiddie-jeans. They go in at the waist, out gracefully at the hips, and they have enough room for you to sit down comfortably without feeling like you are being strangled.
Thank you, Gloria Vanderbilt, on behalf of petite women everywhere who are really built like -- dare I say it?? -- real women!
Wow, these look good on me I actually got these jeans at Bealls when I was visiting my family, and they looked and fit so well that I bought another pair online. I especially love the fact that if you're really short like I am--I barely stand five-feet short--it's especially nice being able to buy a pair of pants without having to have them hemmed.
My only complaint is that the Petite Short doesn't come in nearly as many colors as the Petite. I would have given it five stars if there were more options for the Petite Short.
